Ecolodge Tesoro Verde

	Tesoro Verde has an ample reception room, where we offer local tourism information, and where we organize tours along the trails, to waterfalls, Caño Island, between others.
We also have a beautiful restaurant, which sits 12 guests and offers delicious local meals, following the most authentic Costa Rican recipes.

The Ecolodge Tesoro Verde offers six spacious rooms, two of which offer and single bed and a bunk bed.
	Four rooms offer a full bed and a single bed. All rooms are equipped with a night table, solar panel lighting, and broad windows that offer good ventilation and beautiful scenery.
All rooms are surrounded by ample balconies, that allow a great atmosphere to sit down, relax and admire the great views. The lodge offers two shared restrooms and two shared showers.

Tesoro Verde’s Location The Ecolodge Tesoro Verde is located in Los Planes community, 4 km away from Agujitas, at Drake Bay, Sierpe de Osa. At the tranquil town of Sierpe, bordered by the Rio Sierpe that feeds one of the biggest mangroves in Costa Rica (35,950 acres), you will board a boat that will take you down the Rio Sierpe to the Pacific Ocean. Going to Tesoro Verde is a great adventure, since to reach there we have to cross spectacular mangroves and then travel down the coast to arrive at Drake Bay. Once at Drake Bay, at Agujitas Beach, we will travel 4 km. on an unpaved road surrounded by impressive natural beauty and great views to the Osa Península.
How to get to Los Planes ? By bus: at the “Coca Cola” bus station, take the TRACOPA bus service, which will lead you to Palmar Norte (5 hours ½ by bus). Once at Palmar Norte, a taxi will await you to take you Sierpe, where you will take a boat to Agujitas Beach, located at Drake Bay. Here, a Tesoro Verde representative will welcome you and take you to the lodge. Tesoro Verde is located 4 km. From Playa Agujitas, 15 minutes driving distance from the beach. By car: take the Southern Interamerican Highway, until reaching Chacarita entrance road, that leads to Puerto Jiménez. From this entry, you will drive approximately one hour until reaching Rincón Bridge. Before crossing Rincón Bridge, turn it right on an unpaved road, to head to Drake Bay. Drive one hour and a half until reaching Los Planes community, where the lodge is located. By plane: Various domestic flight companies, such as Sansa and Travelair, offer flights from San José to Palmar Sur (a 45 minute flight). Once at Palmar Sur, a taxi or microbús will head you to Sierpe, where you will take a boat to Agujitas Beach, at Drake Bay. Here, a Tesoro Verde rep will welcome you and take you to the lodge.
